Currently, I’m leading cloud automation initiatives at ADIB in Abu Dhabi, focusing on IaC, AKS, CI/CD and AI-powered tools. For a large Bank our highest priority is to reduce infrastructure costs through optimization.

Main areas of study included Ethical Hacking and Network Security, with practical exposure to penetration testing, threat modeling, and security protocols.

  • Dissertation: Analysis and Simulation of Mobile Security Threats Explored modern security threats targeting mobile devices, with a focus on Denial of Service (DoS) and Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) attacks. Conducted simulations using Opnet to evaluate attack behavior and effectiveness of countermeasures. Included a literature review, case study analysis, and a critical evaluation of mobile security mitigation strategies.

Donate Web Dev Project
Donated a beginner-friendly web project to the ZeroOctave open source repository for JavaScript learners.
Sonarqube Auth Migration
Contributed a simple fix that let external/technical Azure AD users log into SonarQube, by updating the user attribute mappings to include the right “name” and first/last name fields. This change immediately cleared the “you have no account” error and restored access for everyone.
Stackoverflow - How to get number of nodes running in prometheus
kube_node_info is delivered by kube-state-metrics and generated by the Kubernetes API. Provided a solution to monitor the number of running nodes and trigger an alert in case of increase or decrease
Microsoft WSL workaround
Problems related to WSL and Windows 11 prevented the File Explorer from properly accessing Linux distro folders. I pointed out that switching to the newer path (and updating Windows/WSL if necessary) fixed the file-access errors and instantly restored smooth access to all distro folders.
Sonarqube Publish Gate timout issue
The main idea was to proof that the recommended approach wasn't really the answer. Clearly, there was no fix for the community edition. I wrote a blog post about this.
