Currently, I’m leading cloud automation initiatives at ADIB in Abu Dhabi, focusing on IaC, AKS, CI/CD and AI-powered tools. For a large Bank our highest priority is to reduce infrastructure costs through optimization.
Here are a few technologies I've been working with recently:Driving cloud automation and DevOps maturity across ADIB. Defining GitOps, containerisation and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) standards, building reusable Terraform modules and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Supporting IT teams through self-service platform capabilities and leading internal enablement. Collaborating on AI initiatives to improve banking workflows.
Worked across multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure) to automate service provisioning using Python, Node.js, and IaC tools (CloudFormation, Bicep). Enabled hundreds of developers to build and deploy consistently. Operated and maintained the CI/CD and DevSecOps platform, supporting secure development workflows and enforcing code quality through SonarQube and NexusIQ.
Part of the core platform team managing a bare-metal Kubernetes setup. Designed automation for infrastructure provisioning and access management. Developed internal tooling and guardrails using Python, Bash and Go. Drove DevOps best practices and knowledge sharing through workshops and documentation.
Contributed to DevOps tooling and infrastructure at a cloud-native software product team (GKE, GCP). Automated deployment processes using GitLab CI and Terraform. Maintained observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana) and implemented deployment standards using Helm.
Responsible for reliability and automation of university systems. Used Ansible and scripting to automate deployments and backups. Monitored systems using CheckMK and Nagios and supported ongoing performance and security improvements across the data center.
Main areas of study included Ethical Hacking and Network Security, with practical exposure to penetration testing, threat modeling, and security protocols.
